Unique and independent Men’s Sheds have been established in communities all over the World and Canada. In Edmonton there are 13 locations where men meet weekly to socialize and work on something that interests them. To gauge the level of interest in establishing one for the Ridge community, please join us for a meeting with other curious Ridge residents.
Shedders have established independent meeting spaces for the purpose of putting their combined experience to good public service use, by helping to maintain and improve their communities and facilities. More importantly, we have fun and enjoy giving back. A local ‘Shedder’ will share his experiences in getting one started and what has worked well in other Edmonton communities.
