The Ridge Community League and the Edmonton Horticultural Society have partnered again this year to celebrate community and beautiful front gardens. Enthusiastic Ridge volunteers will be out and about from July 6-20, looking for special front gardens in our neighbourhood.

If you know of a gorgeous front yard that you’d like to nominate, please email gardens@theridgeonline.ca by July 20th. Join us in honouring members of our community who create beautiful gardens for all to enjoy!

Summer 2026 Green Shack Program

Mon to Fri, June 29 – August 21

Falconer Heights (1124 Falconer Rd): 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Haddow Park (2097 Haddow Dr): 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Henderson Park (645 Henderson St): 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm

The Green Shack program is a free drop-in program catered to children ages 6 to 12; however, all are welcome. Programming is available rain or shine, but may be cancelled during severe weather.
