The Ridge 2026 Fall Festival

The Ridge Fall Festival — Sat. Sept. 12
Festivities at Haddow Park from 12:00 to 4:00 pm.
- Face painting
- Outdoor games
- Trackless train rides
- Petting Zoo
- Obstacle Course
- Food trucks — Fat Franks and
- The Ridge Ice Cream Treats — $2
- Artisans (various kiosks of artwork)
- Live music by local musicians
- Try out the basketball and pickleball courts
- Community Gardens information table with Composting information
- 2026-27 Memberships for sale
Save the date and come join us for an amazing event!
Be sure to bring some cash or your credit card if you’d like to purchase items from local artisans or the food trucks.

“Not Falling For You” Classes

Stability and Balance classes for Seniors
Coming in Fall 2026 / Co-hosted by Riverbend and The Ridge Community Leagues
Join us for this free 10-week, peer-led physical activity class designed for and by older adults (55+) to improve your mobility
and reduce your risk of falling.
Program Details
Dates: Tuesdays, October 6 to December 8
Time: 11:00 am – 12:30 pm
Location: The Ridge Community Centre, 2111 Haddow Dr NW
Cost: Free with valid Ridge or Riverbend Community League Membership
Requirements: Comfortable indoor shoes and a water bottle
Capacity: Limited to 15 participants
