Children’s Art & Craft Class
The weekly Children’s Art & Craft class at The Ridge Community Centre, held every Friday evening, is a vibrant collaboration between the Greater Windermere Community League and The Ridge Community League. Open to both members and non-members of the community, this class provides children with a creative space to explore various art forms using a range of mediums. Led by an experienced instructor, the class is designed to nurture creativity and self-expression in a supportive and encouraging environment. Whether it’s painting, drawing, sculpting, or crafting, the class allows children to discover their artistic talents while fostering confidence and collaboration with their peers. It’s a wonderful opportunity for young artists to develop their skills and imagination in a fun, community-oriented setting.
The next session begins in January. For information or to register, please email Art@gwcl.com.
Cribbage
We are a cribbage group that play once a week on Tuesdays at 1:00 for about 2 1/2 hours. The format we play is a 4-hander with 2 players being partners and after each game we play with a different partner (a good way to meet everyone). We always welcome new players that already know how to play crib.
Currently our group consists of 16-25 people evenly with both male and female players.
Host name is John Shourounis, 780-437-5809.
