Summer Prep Work Bee – Sun., May 3rd

Have you and your family been enjoying our recreational facilities?
Do you have a bit of time to spare on May 3rd?
The Ridge Community League is having a work bee on May 3 from 1:00 pm to help maintain this beautiful facility and prepare for summer activities.
Work will include:
- Main Rink Tasks
- Remove water-seal caulkingd
- Clean rink surface
- Install pickleball nets
- Install basketball backboards
- Snowbank rink
- Clean up snowbank rink plastic and lumber
- Warm up shack repairs (as needed), seal up for summer
No experience necessary (minimum age of 15 years old)
If you don’t have tools that’s ok! We will supply. If you’re not free the entire time that’s ok! Even an hour or two is appreciated. To assist in planning, you could let us know you plan to come and help by sending an email to our volunteer coordinator at volunteer@theridgeonline.ca.
Come out, meet some neighbours and have some fun while helping keep our rink and courts safe and maintained!
